Build Test Definition
Build testing should allow issues to be identified and resolved prior to the application moving into TEST. Testing should refer to the System Design Specification.
Testing should be conducted by the Primary Developer, Peer Tester, and a DBA where required.

Build Testing Responsibilities
Role | Responsibilities |
Development Team Manager | Signs off Development input to the Build stage. |
Development Lead | Ensures all developer and peer tester activities have been completed prior to the PPBR. Provides continuity for later stages in development life-cycle |
Project Manager | Resource the Primary Developer, Peer Tester, and DBA Resource

Developer(s) | Must check their work against the SDS and Applications Division standards
|
Must notify the project manager that code has gone to Peer Testing

Peer Test Developer(s) | Must test the application against the SDS and Applications Division standards

Must inform the project manager of any rework required

Development Technology Administrator | Must ensure database standard compliance
