Q4 2018/2019

Report Date
August 2019

This quarter energy audits have been conducted in five locations. Four of these were to ACE properties: Grant House, College Wynd, Robertsons Close and Kitchener House. The final visit was to the Visitor Centre. The number of potential ACE properties to visit in the next quarter has reduced. Assuming that there is a similar spec of lighting as found in previous properties, the payback periods have not been short enough (within 10 years) to be approved at the Utilities Working Group. These properties would have been approved if ACE could provide a small contribution, however, they do not have the funds at this time.

Going forward, efforts will be made to see if there are any further "fabric improvements" that can be identified through audits. Efforts will also be made to identify lab-based improvements through relevant audits.

Note that some changes have been made to reporting for previous quarters in this category. Upon review the total number of audits, the numbers did not match that in the Metrics Tracker. These have now been updated. A total of 49 audits have been completed cumulatively, with 22 of those having been carried out this year.
