|We will migrate a 'large chunk as possible' as our first migration and base our estimates for capacity and elasped time based on this We will define non-production services as big as possible, of services and owners close to ITI, to track VM capacity and allocation, and how long it takes to move e.g. 50VM = 10TB & RAM & CPU -> and it took so long - we can then extrapolate
|
14/11/22 | ASSUMPTION is that the migration of test services will reflect the production migration
We will aim to prepare for the load balancer migration by end of 2022 with some non-production migrations if we can - production migrations are not a priority vis-a-vis the VM migrations and will be progressed in 2023 | Sponsor, Technical Lead | 14/11/22
Reboot - based on length of time since last reboot (typically more than 2 months) | Sponsor, Technical Lead | 14/11/22
Change of Scope - this project will increase scope to include the Micro-Segmentation work in the procurement contract with support from Xtravirt | Sponsor, Technical Lead | 5/12/22
The physical decommissioning of the servers will not be part of this project | Sponsor | 30/1/22
