2019 Office Awards successfully delivered on time.
18 teams participated in the Office Awards, with a further 11 teams remaining accredited from 2018. All teams successfully achieved their chosen award level - 9 Gold (7 projects), 6 Silver and 3 Bronze. This brings the total number of teams to 29.
Audits were carried out in November by student volunteers, including those on the Climate Pathways programme. Students received a training session which included the chance to carry out a mock audit, and were able to gain valuable experience in sustainability auditing and report writing. The reports were provided to the teams in December along with confirmation of their award level.
211 staff members actively participated in the 2019 Office Awards. This figure includes team members and champions from both awarded and still accredited teams. This equates to 1.36% of University staff. For both the Office and Lab Awards, the figures are 254 staff members participating equating to 1.63% of total University Staff.
4,225 staff were reached by the 2019 Office Awards, including both awarded and still accredited teams. This equates to 27.19% of University staff.
For both Lab and Office Awards, 5867 staff were reached, which is 37.73% of University staff. 51.05% of the student population was reached by the Office and Lab Awards.
Staff and students were asked to provide feedback on their experience taking part in the awards, and this was very positive.
