The estates organisation requires an upgrade to their Archibus package in addition to the ongoing Win7 upgrade work. It is supplied by a company called Archibus who allow a third party MASS (among others) to carry out changes, upgrades and amendments. The Archibus software consists of an Oracle database (EBIS) and a client application. The client application currently sits on 100+ client PCs is at Ver 17. The web application that sits on Web Central currently sits at Ver 18. The database currently sits at Ver 18. The intention is to upgrade all to version 19. MASS will be on-site to supervise the upgrade work which will be carried out by Dev Tech.
Archibus uses AUTOCAD for buildings drawings and this will also be upgraded to be compliant with Archibus 19 and Windows 7
The EBIS database is currently at Oracle version 10g and will be upgraded to version 11g
IS Development have also developed Coldfusion functionality but this is unaffected by the upgrade.
