Scheduled Monthly windows o/s patching - This application requires restarted on the Thursday at 8am following the 2nd Tuesday of the Month. An automatic restart not possible, someone in Estates has to sign on.
However this has been resolved by agreeing a regular day and time that this takes place to enable E&B to minimise the downtime of metering.
Window operating system downtime are scheduled for once a month after the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
This project has agreed that this has been scheduled at 8am for all E&B projects on the Thursday following the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
The first windows operating systems took place on Thursday 16th May. On this occasion the patches were checked for EST072 and were automatically found that they were not required as they had already taken place on 7th May when the LIVE machine was restarted.
