Work/Task Breakdown

 The Project will consist of the following pieces of work:

• Produce Brief
• Report Investigation Options and Recommendation (ref to Impact and Dependencies)
• Produce TAD and Build TEST
• Re-configure user pc's to access the new server environment
• Complete Acceptance Testing
• Deliver Build LIVE and Migration

Resources Skills and Cost

Resourcing has been discussed, agreed and secured as far as the investigation stage. Once the investigation has been completed and a recommendation is produced, the project will be re-estimated and re-planned based on the knowledge gained for the entire project.  The approved estimate is 25 days.

Security on the Project will be reviewed and any secure documents will be held with the agreed access (e.g. TAD, verify if there is any other sensitive data requiring restricted access)

The current thought is to host this on a separate infrastructure and as such it it is envisaged that additional costs will be incurrred by Estates and Buildings.

• Assuming additional kit is required, we will have to allow time for ITI to prepare the kit, this will result in an Estates cost.
• Indicative costs will be £2,500  to provide a single server and hosting costs for 5 years. This project will require 2 servers, 1 for TEST and 1 for LIVE.
