This project will deliver an integrated system that will manage and record the activities associated with the maintenance of the estate with regards both planned and reactive maintenance, the statutory inspections with regards to the plant and assets throughout the estate. The system will enable Estates and Buildings the ability to;

  • Undertake the management and prioritisation of work orders associated with automated recurring scheduled tasks (planned maintenance and statutory inspections) in conjunction with identified remedial / reactive maintenance activities; monitor and highlight overdue activities
  • Comply with the necessary statutory requirements in managing the University estate by enabling comprehensive records to be kept of compliance data such as temperature checks, water testing, risk assessments etc, and associated remedial works and their rectification and provide a complete audit trail of activity for each building
  • To improve efficiency and reduce the reliance of a paper based process, the system will be required to enable the option through time for all work order instructions to be delivered  to electronic devices with the ability to provide real time updates.  In the first instance, the project will look to incorporate the process for electronic devices to be utilised for the statutory inspections.
