Project Vision

The project is a high priority for Estates as it systemises control issues which we are currently covering by additional manual processes; therefore it  is required to improve the efficiency of the control system whilst maintaining the existing control environment. 

 

Project brought out of 'Suspend' mode May '18 (approved by WIS June 8th as part of CAFM/EBIS work under Estates Systems Optimisation Programme  and Estates Facilities Management optimisation (EST115).  EST115 Project manager to review requirements.

Due to necessary focus on strategy (required for the optimisation programme) and other project priorities (EST099), a delay in re-scoping and re-planning has ensued.

The project scope has now been re-assessed (October/November) and an initial supplier meeting held, with the only 'must have' system control to be implemented, being 'Delegated Authority Levels' for purchase ordering.  This requirement is a priority.

Due to heightened security concerns, a change to the AFM user password (Sys Admin level access) is also required as a priority.  It is proposed this requirement is brought into scope and under the management of the P2P project, to keep the project management and governance overhead to a minimum for a relatively small piece of work, whilst ensuring a quality controlled outcome.
