The project has moved to Amber with the approval of the Programme Manager in December based on mitigating actions facilitated by the Project Manager and detail in "Notes on RAG Status".
The Business Requirements Document (BRD) has been updated (version 6.1) to reflect current status of reports and shared with project team for review.
Resources times for UAT and preparation for deployment have been updated in Asta project for January tasks.
Draft project plans (Tasks / duration /sequence) in progress including activities to support the Oracle Upgrade.
User Acceptance Tests to start on 8th January 2019 for 4 weeks. Key activities include, weekly project team meetings and sign off by the Business.
Review the outcome of the Health check (Jan 2020) with the Business Sponsor
High Level plan to be completed (Deployment – Closure). Including engagement of Support Teams.
Agreement reached on capability of business to support “ad-hoc query capability……, giving them the ability to extract data and generate their own custom analysis and reports”
The environments (dev, test and live) Archibus that are being used for the testing are out of date and do not reflect the current Live environment. This makes the testing more difficult for the developers.
The scope of the project has been extended as the BRD was written 1.5 years ago and the interpretation of the requirements has not been controlled.
This project is over budget, has increased its scope and also the timeline will need to be extended due to complex issues found during testing
The Project has moved in January to: phrase User Acceptance Testing, from RAG status Red to Amber and planning in progress for next phrases: Deployment to Closure. Concurrently the PMO will provide a Health check of the project in Jan 2020 to confirm capacity to complete delivery.
