The purpose of the project is to minimise the risk to and business impact of the present CAFM system and support partner for Estates, whilst work is undertaken to gather present and future business requirements, procure and implement a 'new' CAFM solution.

Services are already in place and being delivered.  The project seeks to improve these and enhance the CAFM specific processes and procedures, templates and documentation etc associated with delivery of change to the CAFM system (other CAFM associated projects).  It will also seek to deliver enhanced knowledge and training as appropriate and data quality improvement quick wins, subject to change management approval.

The project will draw mainly upon the Lessons Learned outcome and project variances detailed during project closure of EST099 - Asset Management to help deliver system stabilisation and service improvements.

Earlier projects lessons and previous activities initiated form such, will also be reviewed and considered, as appropriate (successes and failures), as many lessons don't appear to have been learnt (more than once) meaning 'sustainability' may be an issue to focus on.

It will also draw upon CAFM Account Management and Supplier Engagement/Enhancement activities (not formally under project management control) presently owned at Programme level (Operational elements only, not Strategic).

Early output from EST115 - CAFM Optimisation will be an important reference/feed for this project too.
