- A patch was successfully released on Wednesday to address the issues from Release 3.
- The closure review meeting was held on Thursday to sign-off the Completion Report, which has now been submitted to WIS for appoval.
- User documentation has been handed over to FInance
- Support documentation has been handed over to Apps Management and put onto the Insite Wiki.

- The go-live of release 3 successfully went ahead as planned
- A couple of minor issues have been reported, these are in the process of being rectified/tested and a maintenance release will be carried out next week.
- The team are preparing their closure report and the closure review meeting is booked for next week

- This is the 2nd week of Release 3 and development/testing is progressing well.
- Due to time lost to sickness and other commitments, the iteration will extend into the early part of next week.
- The go-live of Release 3 is planned for next Wednesday (12th)

eStores now live at QMRI/Chancellors |
eStores has now been rolled out to QMRI and Chancellors stores at Little France.
Researchers in the labs are now able to place stores orders via an online shopping cart, which displays realtime stock availability & prices.
This new system replaces their previous semi-manual system. |

- Iteration 3 started this week. User Stories for this release are documented in the Release 3 section. Good progress has been made to-date with bug fixes complete and work is now taking place on the highest priority User Stories.
- eStores went live at Ashworth store on Thursday (29th).
- Chemistry's scanners have developed a fault connecting to the WiFi, usual corrective measures haven't resolved this & so they are speaking to the manufacturer.

eStores goes live at Chemistry with Elfs |
The latest release of eStores went live at School of Chemistry Stores on Thursday 8th November.
This latest release incorporates WIndows Mobile functionality to support the new Elf barcode scanners. These scanners are used at the Store checkout to to issue products to researchers, details are then sent via WiFi to eStores back office, where they're validated and send on to eFinancials.

eStores now live at all 3 SCE stores |
eStores has now been rolled out to all three stores at the College of Science & Engineering; Chemistry, Ashworth and Swan.
These three stores issue their stock via in-store barcode scanners, so the rollout has included the delivery of new handheld scanners and supporting mobile software to connect to the eStores back-office.
The next task for the project is to roll out to MVM stores at Little France.

- eStores release 2 went live at lunchtime on Tuesday 13th. Details of the functionality included in this release can be seen on the Release 2 Info Page
- Chemistry have been experiencing problems with the overnight interface as the introduction of eStores has highlighted issues with the pre-existing data. These are being worked through in conjunction with Chemistry Stores staff. A large backlog of orders had built up, this was cleared by the interface being run manually run during the day by IS staff.

- This is the 2nd and final week of Iteration 1.Scanner software is complete but there are still some elements of the back-office validation and ID card printing to finish off. End-to-end testing has not yet taken place.
- Following team discussions with the business representative, the go-live planned for Monday will be delayed by a few days to allow further testing to take place.
- A presentation and demo of the scanner software took place at Kings Buildings for the School Administrator, Finance and Research Administrator, stores staff from Chemistry/Ashwo

- 2-day development 'spike' undertaken to assertain whether Windows Mobile & C# could be successfully used to deliver the required functionality on the barcode scanners. The results were positive, although a residual risk of using this technology remains, as it is not commonly used within the University.
- High-level design for eStores Mobile has taken place, mock-up screens have been sent to stakeholders for consideration.
- Estimation has taken place and stories/tasks collated for iteration 1 which will start on Monday

- Stores workshop held with Stores reps from Roslin, Little France and Chemistry attending. Initial set of requirements gathered and prioritised by Stores.
- Sales Rep demonstrated 2 potential new models for barcode scanners - these are now on loan for a week. A further potential model is on loan for 2 weeks.
- Discussions with IT reps about WiFi coverage at barcoded stores. Additional WiFi points may be needed for Ashworth and Swann Stores if barcode scanners are to be used.
