Finance have a number of applications that were developed in conjunction with IS Applications utilising Coldfusion v9.  This version of Coldfusion is at end-of-life in July 2016 & will no longer be supported by the supplier so there is a need to migrate these applications to a more recent and supported version of Coldfusion.

The project will also take opportunity to apply automated deployment via the Bamboo service so that both it and future projects can benefit from simplified releases to Dev, Test and Live environments.

The applications to be migrated are: -

• Finance Channel
• FPA Reconciliation
• Electronic Internal Transfers (eITs)
• WebFirst
• Salary Forecasting
• eStores
• Time Allocation Survey (TAS)
• WPMserve

The benefits of migrating these applications and applying automated deployment include: -

• Continued support for these key financial applicatons
• Simplified software releases for future projects, resulting in less time and effort being spent on routine deployments
• Improved quality and consistency of software releases, resulting in reduced re-work, downtime and general user disruption
