Work/Task Breakdown
- The User Group is being refreshed to represent all 6 user personas
- Core elearning modules being completed prior to UAT
- The team will work with the User Group to develop a Communications Plan
- The team will workwith the User Group to ensure TEST Plans are accurate and representatative of the system usage
- The team will work with the User Group to ensure that the training plan provides sufficient and appropriate methods of training to ensure the Business is ready for the Go LIVE.
- A Major Governance Assessment Review will be completed
Specific packages of work per environment:
DEV environment
- Upgrade to v21 (Core Stage 1 process only)
- HR Systems team complete configuration
- HR Systems team update manuals and guidance
- HR Systems team to draft test plans (these will be reviewed and approved by User Group)
- UAT - with USer Group and includes testing the updated documentation/manuals
- Update BI Universe (if integrity tests show changes are required)
- Sign-off DEV
TEST environment
- Upgrade to v21 on one node only (Core stage 1 process)
- Regression testing (UAT to be repeated on TEST)
- User training
- Complete full upgrade of TEST to v21 (Core stage 2 and 3 process)
- Update BI Universe if required
- Sign-off TEST
LIVE environment
- Upgrade to v21 on one node only (Core stage 1 process) whilst user training underway
- Complete upgrade of LIVE to v21
- Copmplete updates to BI Universe if required.
- Sign-off LIVE
Resources Skills and Cost
The main IS Apps resources required on this project are Project Services, Development Technology and Applications Management. There will be a substantial level of resource required from the HR Business Systems team and this team is currently recruiting to support this eRecruitment project. This is an In Year Funded project and therefore there will be a consultancy requirement in IS Applications to backfill the staff that are assigned to this project.
The User Group will also need to provide time to the project, particularly in the testing of the system, training of users and ensuring effective communcation with users.
