This project will deliver a datamart to be populated with a snapshot on a regular basis from the EUCLID admissions system for PG, Other and Visiting applicants. The regular snapshots will be stored on an on-going basis so that anonymous management information is available for reporting and analysis.
A requirement of this project would be to provide the historical situation which will enable trend analysis, targeted recruitment activity, and be able to inform admissions planning going forward. Historical data from EUCLID will be used to build the data.
The data within the datamart will be accessed via a BOXI universe. Corporate reports will be delivered within the scope of the project. It will need to be possible to report across this universe and STUDMI to provide an overarching view of applicant/student progression.
The benefits will be that there will be management information for PG, Other and Visiting admissions even after the data protection project has removed the active records. This will sit alongside the current ADMISMI datamart which exists for UG applicants.
There is a desire in the business to have a combined Direct and UG admissions datamart and universe. This project will seek to identify commonalities between UG and Direct requirements with the aim of delivering a datamart and universe which will be suitable for further development to enable UG data to be included. (The project will not deliver UG-specific requirements).
