Impact
Priority and Funding
HSS029 was approved by ISG WIS on February 1st, 2019 as a Discretionary project.
The overall project priority for HSS029 is NORMAL.
This project is Core funded and has been allocated 54d (days) of CAHSS College Ring-fenced.
Impact and Dependencies
Impact
- This project should reduce the current operational effort expended by Academic and Student Administration – CAHSS, on supporting the programme and school reporting process using SPQS
- SPQS process data will become more GDPR compliant, which has been identified by Academic Services as a current blocker to their support for University-wide adoption of SPQS
Dependencies
- That there are no significant changes to the current processes and templates used for the University Quality Framework (UQF)
- That there are also no significant changes to the EUCLID student management system’s data schema, generated by other projects, during the HSS029 project lifetime
- SPQS requires a feed of programme data from SITS via a SITS API.
- Suitable IS Software Development team resources will be assigned to HSS029 by the start of the Build phase (currently March 2019).
- Acceptance testing resources provided by Student Systems and Administration will be available to test any HSS029 system configuration changes during May 2019
