Appleton Tower needs to be shut down to allow some key maintenance and upgrades.

This will mean loss of power to AT and some nearby buildings, the loss of network across a wider area and the shutdown of the datacentre.

This project will prepare for this shutdown by doing an impact analysis, reviewing options for avoidance and mitigation or resulting risks with our partners in Estates and ISG and Colleges,  and then putting in place such mitigations as part of the overall planning for the shutdown before an agreed date for the shutdown .
