Work/Task Breakdown

This project explicitly supports the work undertaken by the Security team and PWC. Hence, PWC are controlling the plan. The PM will work closely with PWC, meeting weekly, contributing to regular updates and will add benefit where appropriate and possible throughout.

Thus a traditional plan will not be developed at this stage. Once the team has access to detailed PWC plans, this will be updated.

 

Resources, Skills and Costs

Resources from the following teams are required to deliver this project:

Currently access to key stakeholders has meant that colleagues are giving up an hour or so and that's considered BAU. However risk 3 details the problem if staff need to spend more time and wish to have a code to report time against. Programme Manager and Sponsor aware.

 

Project Governance

The project will follow the standard Information Services model, though note we will be working with an external supplier, PWC, very closely, given they are driving this work and we are supporting them.

The first delivery - IDAM maturity analysis and gap analysis to future maturity state - will be sent to all contributors, plus a number of additional stakeholders such as Service Excellence and WIS for comments. Project Sponsor will need to approve and sign off.

Currently, there is no appetite for a formal project board to be created. The project is meant to last 12 weeks, with four key deliveries, each one following a similar approach of review and approval as the first (see above).

The Project Manager, PWC lead and Sponsor are meeting regularly and will track.

Stakeholders are a work in progress and will continue to develop. We do need to try and lock down Governance though for the various major milestone deliveries.
