Issues
It is still unclear what the rollout plan and timescale for MFA for new students is. This could potentially cause confusion and increases the risk of conflicting comms for new students. The project team is liaising on a regular basis with the MFA project team and the Student Induction team.
There is a threat of strike action during Welcome Week. This is noted in the project risk log Impact of Strike Action during Welcome Week. If strike action is widespread we may not be in a position to fully implement our welcome week plans. A decision by Unison will be made in July, when the outcome is known contingency plans will be drawn up by the project manager.
