IS Digital Skills Team aim to develop a programme of training to support researchers in developing their digital skills. We need a PhD intern to help us to identify the skills which should be included in the programme and make recommendations on how the training can best be delivered to research staff and research students. The work of this internship will be to review research skills frameworks, map digital skills to the research lifecycle, identify existing training resources locally and in other universities, identify good practice for researcher training programmes, highlight any differences in digital skills needs in specific discipline  areas and make recommendations to Information Services senior management to shape our plans going forward. This internship would suit someone with a training or people development background or someone with an active interest in digital and data skills for 21st century researchers.
