Achievements in Last Period

After the deployment of the POLO database upgrade, the MediaBank began to exhibit response times issues. The development team coded a solution which was rolled out on the 13th of August to resolve an indexing problem on Media bank content. The code was rolled out and the re-indexing was run but this did not resolve the issue. A further workround was added to address the particular area of slowness and this was rolled out on the 25th of August. This was successful in alleviating the response time issue with the user base. 

Issues

The project has gone over buget due to the additional efforts to resolve the Media Bank issues.

Next Steps

The next steps will be to collate the views from the closure reports to discuss whether we can live with the application in its current state and accept there may be some risk with response times in the future or to decide to initiate another project
