Achievements in Last Period

• Deployment to Live for IDM Feed
• IDM FEED - CRON job set up to run automatically
• Deployment to Live for MyEd Channel changes
• Deployment review held and sign off completed including Production Handover
• Project Completion report drafted and issued out for comment and sign off

Issues

• Cosmetic changes requested by the business partner (e.g. Library channels) were completed, although the changes seemed minor, outages needed to be scheduled with the MyEd service owners to apply the changes.
• SITS upgrade completed on 20th July, impacted the Bamboo deployment changes file permissions on IDM-Library feed shell script launch_libfeed.sh. this resulted in the Library Feed not being loaded for 8 days. The LMP004 project resolved the permissions issue and updated the bamboo plan for deployment via all the environments. A request has been issues to the Information Systems team within the Library to incorporate a process in your checking procedures if they don’t receive a daily file that they raise a UNIDESK call for this to be investigated. Essentially this issue should have been picked up by the SITS upgrade team in Test unfortunately this was not correctly QAd by them and this has been noted by that project.
• COM019 project has been completing the migration of IDM database over to new infrastructure, a probklem was encountered with database connection errors, a workaround in now in place for the IDM library feed however further investigations are underway to find a permanent fix.
• Due to the above issue the project closure was not completed by 31st July but is expected to be completed by 7th August - UNIDESK Call raised by Library needs further clarity around staff end dates / purge date to allow Service Management to sign off. This has been passed to Library Information Systems to investigate.

Next Steps

• Chase for final sign offs for Project Closure report and submit to IS Apps for approval
