Implementation of a next generation Library Services platform to replace the Voyager Library Management System, which has been in place since 1999. The scope of this initiative will encompass the back-office systems underpinning staff workflows, and any interfaces including links to discovery, and to corporate services (including identity management, finance, and patron feeds from golden sources of staff and student data).
This project is for year 2 of the Library Management Platform (LMP) implementation, following the procurement exercise in 14/15. The implementation phase started in January 2015, with the new system delivery completed July 2015 and in place for the new academic session in September 2015.
The key focus of this phase of the project will be analysis (and subsequent development) of requirements for an enhanced Visitor feed which includes NHS staff and members of the public wanting to use Library services.
