Explanation for Variance
There was a possibility this project would pick up the re-opening of some of the other smaller libraries but as they we re being used to provide study spaces this was covered under the study spaces project, so the full time allocation was not required.
Outcome
The project delivered on its main objectives required to get the Library re-opened in a safe manner on time.
Outstanding Issues
The main outstanding issue was finishing the study spaces booking app. As this was not able to be launched in time for the reopening of the library a manual process was put in to place to manage queues and co-ordinate study space bookings. The launch of the app is covered under the Study Spaces project and when it is launched it will simplify the queue management and improve the experience for people attending the library .
