This project will catalogue. conserve, selectively digitise and make available for research three outstanding collections relating to animal and human health and wellbeing. We envisage that the project will: produce a dynamic, multi-level, searchable digital catalogue of the named collections; link catalogue record data and digitised content; appraise and dispose of superfluous records and duplicate material in line with professional standards and legislation; preserve and (where appropriate) conserve the material in the collections; digitise selected material from the collections for research and dissemination; deliver impact through research on the collections, including digital scholarship; engage with academic audiences through a programme of targeted events and interventions; identify and foster relationships with external organisations holding related collections; develop an innovative public engagement programme to demonstrate the relevance of these collections to society and community.
