This project will catalogue. conserve, selectively digitise and make available for research three outstanding collections relating to animal and human health and wellbeing. We envisage that the project will:  produce a dynamic, multi-level, searchable digital catalogue of the named collections;  link catalogue record data and digitised content;  appraise and dispose of superfluous records and duplicate material in line with professional standards and legislation;  preserve and (where appropriate) conserve the material in the collections;  digitise selected material from the collections for research and dissemination;  deliver impact through research on the collections, including digital scholarship;  engage with academic audiences through a programme of targeted events and interventions;  identify and foster relationships with external organisations holding related collections;  develop an innovative public engagement programme to demonstrate the relevance of these collections to society and community.
