Partnership project with HCA and A.G. Leventis Foundation to research, create assets, develop and deliver a major physical and online exhibition, with associated public and community engagement programme. The exhibition will commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution and play on the synchronicity of the Greek Revolution and the emergence of the discourse of Edinburgh as the Athens of the North. 

 

Update: Government Indemnity achieved after on site assessment of security, environmental and operational infrastructure and protocols by National Security Advisor 30/09/21. Report pending. Exhibition is now in installation phase. UoE heritage collections installation complete as of 07/10/21. Complex programme of 20 national and international loans arriving for condition check, final preparation and installation week commencing 11th October. Installation of contemporary art commission also week commencing 11th October. Project continues to draw resource from wide range of CRC teams, HCA, IS Facilities and Security. Final preparations for opening event 28/10/21 underway.
