The Lecture Recording Programme is in the final year of a 3 year programme to roll-out of the lecture recording service to 400, centrally supported teaching rooms across the University.

A key focus for this final year of the Programme will be the work sponsored by the of the Engagement and Evaluation Group to evaluate the benefits realised by the implementation of Lecture Recording and explore  the potential of the service to act as a catalyst for the transformation of learning and teaching at the University.

The Benefits Realisation project has been set up to support  this work by:

  • Facilitating the identification of discipline specific enablers to optimise the use of the Lecture Recording service.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the Lecture Recording Policy
  • Documenting and disseminating business case benefits realisation information.
  • Supporting the creation or identification of frameworks in Schools and Colleges to ensure the continued incorporation of research learning into advancements in teaching and learning/use of the service.
