This project has been classed as an IS 'run' project due to the risks associated with the current equipment which is out of warranty and the unsupported database used for managing simulated patients.  The initial scope of the project is to review the current facilities/systems used for simulation teaching, noting risk areas and providing potential developments to improve the student experience and to ensure the College is gaining best value from suppliers.

Areas for consideration are:

1. Auditing current simulation equipment available and reviewing replacement options.

2. Development of a new simulated patient database due to the upcoming GDPR changes.

3. Reviewing the EPPSAT database to ensure it conforms to the upcoming GDPR changes.
