Project Summary

Each year the College replace a number of PCs within its student computer labs, teaching spaces and meeting rooms (known as facilities managed machines).  The replacements are based on a 5 year lifecycle.  Some of the computers in this year's list were originally added to coincide with AV upgrades (Vets 1.4x rooms) however due to delays in delivery dates, it wasn't possible to install the new PCs before the students returned, so these computers were repurposed elsewhere and the 1.4x rooms will receive their replacement PCs when they were originally planned.  The number of computers installed in the anatomy museum was reduced due to financial constraints and the perception from the local area that not all 7 computers were actually required.  The future usage will be monitored and if an adjustment in numbers is required, this will be incorporated into another year's replacement cycle.
