Project Summary

HHW and HHW2 are Python based applications written by Professor Mayank Dutia. The applications simulate different experiments on nerve cells and it was created for the Biomedical Sciences. Professor Dutia has retired form the university and the applications needed to be upgraded to later versions of Python and its underlying framework.

Outcome

Both applications were upgraded to the latest versions of Python. The underlying frameworks for both applications were also updated

Key Learning Points

• The team learned how to upgrade Python applications. This was new to us as we typically work with PHP based apps.
