Achievements this period

  • Request for student computers to be added to a soon to be created simulation space within the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.  Project manager to visit space in November to look at options and whether networking infrastructure will need to be added or if anything existing is available.
  • Cascaded computers have been deployed to a teaching lab in 1 George Sqaure (to be used with ADInstruments hardware/software).  This space will need to be added to the future replacement cycle for student PCs.

Next Steps

  • Discuss replacements with local IT teams to ensure they are aware of the locations receiving upgrades.
  • Purchase the replacement computers.
