Achievements this Period

• We were able to meet the key Milestone of 31st October to complete the 1st Version of the SharePoint resource, even though we had constraints on Project Team time (see Risk 2 below).
• All UAT sessions were scheduled and invitations sent out to SMEs.
  • Scenarios were developed and agreed by the project team by 1st November.
  • The User Scenario Testing will take place in November.

Issues

• There were consistent resource constraints from the Key Stakeholders in the project team within MVM (Sponsor and Technical Lead time). More details can be found on the Risk Log: https://secure.projects.ed.ac.uk/unpublished/project/mvm319/risks/2

  • The risk has been lowered at the end of October when the Project Leads brought in additional support from a CMVM Computing Officer to work on fine tuning the Version 1 of the SharePoint resource. They were able to come into the project quickly, and had adapted the previously developed SharePoint site/Pages into a more user friendly version better geared towards our target audience. This will maintain the project siting at GREEN for this month, but both the PM and PrgM will continue to monitor the resource effort closely.
• While not an issue, an item of note is the possible inclusion of a new Deliverable that is in Scope for the project, but was not accounted for in Planning nor was it identified for Budget and Timeline. The project Team is currently deciding if this new deliverable can be added to the work schedule and further updates will be provided in the November RAG report.

Next Steps

• Conduct User Testing (Scenarios) with SMEs throughout November and capture comments and feedback to improve the resource in Version 2 edits
• Complete Version 2 of the resource
• Sign off on User Testing by the end of November
