Achievements in Last Period

• FNS (Provet) have continued to run web-based training sessions in Provet Cloud with several of the R(D)SVS business areas; these sessions are surfacing comments which are being fed back into Provet's planning for the customisation work.
• Aileen Brown has handed over to Kevin Brady as Business Lead and has now left the University.
• Laura Dickenson is assisting Kevin with Business Lead activities.
• Prototypes of new features have been demonstrated by Provet.
• Users have been created on the TEST EASE environment; details of these and the xml for the test environments has been shared; authentication on TEST planned for completion by end June, and on LIVE by end July.
• FNS (Provet) to visit R(D)SVS 5th and 6th June to revisit lab connectivity, Accounts procedures, and to review progress to date; a review with a wider group of users will take place on 6th June.
• Project Board 11/05/17 approved the inclusion of proposed IDM integration work in the scope of the project but agreed that it be post initial go live (so this has been postponed to Phase 2); an IDM extract of user ids will be required to be imported into Provet Cloud for the initial launch; the Project Board also approved the recommended approach to the launch (2 launches of 2 hospitals each, separated by a few weeks).
• For planning and transparency, the IDM work has been estimated and itemised separately and formal planning approval sought on the basis that the scheduling is subject to coordination with Provet and approval by the Project Board. 

Issues

• No major issues.
• Proposed dates for phased launch are not ideal for the monthly accounting reporting, so PM and Business Lead are working with Provet and the business on suitable dates; at present the initial launch is looking to be the start of September (subject to agreement).

Next Steps

• Review project plan, timeline, estimates for presentation to June Project Board w/c 12/06/17.
• Agreement of training plan and revised overall project plan with Provet.
• Review budget, resourcing, timeline and milestones.
