Throughout the College numerous setups exist for the use of Intranet Service across multiple platforms. There is little, if any agreed structure to the range of services. This project is to look at these services and to ascertain the opportunites to bring togther and provide improved IT opportunites for service & product improvements & efficiencies.

This project can be seen as the overarching view bring together all the elements the exist and to provide clear direction for the consolidation of the various aspects in to other projects. The project will have defined spin off projects e.g. the use of the University WIKI service, Internally developed we solutions and to look a the opportunities to unify our utlisation of the UoE impemented Framework offered by the MS product Sharepoint.

AUGUST 2017 - This project has been withdrawn in favour of MVM522 which better reflects the needs of our intranet and it's development in project terms than this as stand alone.
