Updates:

  • The five categories of stakeholders identified in the UoE's InfoSec guidance (Users, Line Managers, Service Managers/Owners, Head of College) are being used in combination with the UoE's Information Security Standards checklist to examine InfoSec with CMVM.   
  • A further meeting of campus leads, Sheila and JH taking place in early November with the aim of working through the fourteen InfoSec standards, with reference to the different stakeholder categories, identifying where considerations specific to CMVM need to be noted.  
  • Discussions regarding implementation outputs (which could involve checklists, updated 'onboarding' and 'offboarding' guidance, etc.) are now a priority given the need to a) consistently implement UoE InfoSec policies across CMVM and b) monitor and maintain adherence to these policies.
