Impact

Priority and Funding

  • This project has the priority listing of Normal and in comparison to the other work being carried out by the Project Sponsor (Rhian Davies) the project is of normal relevance
  • This project has a time budget of 10 days for the project manager- there will be input from colleagues across the directorate whose time will be captured using the code XXX

Impact and Dependencies

  • This project will depend on the availability of other staff members to be available for interview in the time frame that is planned for this project
  • This project will have the impact of making the process of requesting resources across Applications simpler and less time consuming

Lessons learned from previous projects

Previous projects looking into the process for requesting project resources have shown that creating a perfect system that pleases everyone is very difficult and often not achievable within the given time and resource constraints. Therefore, it is important to understand that whilst this project will aim to create a high quality and usable new process for requesting project resources, the process will likely not be perfect. Despite this, there will be quarterly reviews of the process held upon its implementation and this will allow for any problems to be addressed and therefore resolve existing issues.
