This project aims to lay the groundwork to support the adoption of Testrail, a test management software, across the ISG Applications Directorate (Apps).
Testrail enables those who work on projects to monitor the progress of user acceptance testing (UAT), streamlining the process and accelerating test management to improve the efficiency of this critical phase in software delivery.
The PMO will develop and share user-friendly guidance and best practices to help Apps staff navigate Testrail and effectively manage test cases, runs, and results. By doing so, the project seeks to maximize the platform's potential and build on the progress made during previous initiatives (DTI002 and DTI027).
While Testrail previously incurred a per-user cost, it is now available free of charge, with the cost covered by Applications.
