Note that I have made a couple of assumptions:

1) The requirement just says to set the affiliation end date to the fixed term end date for fixed term contracts. However at the moment the affiliation end date field is either null or actual termination date. Therefore what I have specified is that where there is an actual termination date we use that (as this means the employee has left as at that date regardless of what the notional ft end date would have been) but where the actual termination date is null we will use the ft_end_date.

2) The requirement does not mention visitor records. I have specified that we should set the value of FIX_TERM_CONTRACT to N for all visitor affiliations, since I think that PURE sync will require this. It does not differentiate between staff and visitor affiliations in its processing.
