The Research Management and Administration System (RMAS) Project will transform research administration systems and processes at the University of Edinburgh. This is a major, University wide multi-year project being undertaken by IS in partnership with Finance and Edinburgh Research Innovation (ERI). The project has four phases: Phase 1 – Process and Systems Review (Complete) Phase 2 – Post Award Analysis (Complete) Phase 3 – Procurement: January 2013 – March 2014 Phase 4 – Implementation: September 2013 – July 2015

Following the completion of RMAS Phase 1 (Business Case) and Phase 2 (Post Award Analysis), the RMAS Project Board has given approval for the project to move to the procurement phase.  This phase of the project will focus on the procurement activities such as the completion of the ITT, evaluation phase and contract award.
