Impact

Priority and Funding

 This is a funded priority 1 project. This is because RMAS is a high profile funded project which will need to deliver by Jan 2015. RMAS will replace Infinite and InfoEd which both are falling out of support. It is a key strategic system for the university which will deliver an end to end solution for reseach awards and grant management. A large chunk of the design and development work will fall over the end of year period when traditional resource is constrained. In addition, the delivery dates are tied to a payment schedule agreed with the supplier in the payment schedule included in the contract. If there is any delay in the delivery date there will be an impact on cost to the university in additional effort

 This has been agreed by Head of IS Apps and the Head of Project Services.

Impact and Dependencies

• Dependence on Project SAS001 (PURE Database Migation) being completed prior to the start of the RMAS/PURE build.
• Dependence on IS resource being available to carry out the work
• Dependence on the required fields being available in the new RMAS (Worktribe) system to link to
