The current main research information systems are now several years old.

Pure has been in service since 2011 and Worktribe since 2016. Initial contracted periods will be coming to an end and there is a requirement to undertake a full market assessment of the state of the art of these systems in order to ensure the current providers are still suppliers of the leading applications and that the University is realising full value from the investment that is put into research information systems. 

Additionally, other systems could form part of this review (data repositories, research archives) and might be considered in scope.
