This project has been initiated to review data which is sitting in key RIS systems e.g., Pure Int and Worktribe and identify if this can be purged if not required or review progresses to remove the capture of this data.

- We have data sitting in PUREINT which requires purging as it’s not needed, and elements of the data syncing with Pure which is not needed (e.g., gender in the EUCLID feed). These data items should be expunged from the staging tables and removed from the feed we’re ingesting as they’re not required. 

- Data previously ingested into Worktribe which is now no longer needed should be expunged. We are also ingesting too much data to set up initial user records which needs to be looked at. 

Whilst some changes have been achieved, e.g., removal of DoB from Pure and the re-written HR feed with P&M, failure to keep on top of data could lead to issues under legislation like GDPR.
