RSS008 Research Open Stack Service Launch

 

The RSS008 project has delivered a new cloud Open Stack service to our research community.

Available from today, for free and paid use.

The service name chosen from a selection of suggestion fed back from colleagues across the university is Eleanor (after Eleanor Ormerod), the first women to be awarded an honorary degree from the university,

  • We’ve picked up a few good partners to help us with the user engagement with the cloud service build – Rstudio for CMVM teaching needs, plus a technical engagement for a project in the Observatory and/or GridPP.
