Collaborative Development of Storage Manager

This is a follow on project that requests a partnership with the Wellcome Sanger Institute, to utilise Consultancy software development to support the development of the Storage Manager Tool working with a specific Vendor.

Storage Manager underpins the delivery of DataStore and other services to UoE. Together these services provide the unified storage infrastructure that underpins all of the provision of data services to researchers at UoE.

This project is to work with partners to bring the existing re-factored framework to the stage of being able to fully replace the existing Storage Manager code-base in production operation and therefore realise the full benefits of UoE’s long term investment in these tools and cement a leading position in providing automated self-management and access to operational information for DataStore users.
