Achievements in Last Period

  • Development sprints continue based on priorities set by User Team, Sponsor and Key Stakeholders. 

  • Works completed seamlessly to DV Users against Oracle Gen1 to Gen2 Migration.

  • Works continuing against the following key tasks:

    • Business As Usual (BAU) / Bug fix tasks

    • Metadata / PURE Interface Works

  • Technical refactoring evaluation workshops were completed a draft options proposal is being finalised with the Technical Team.

  • The design document continues to be updated where required.

Summary of current status of the issue:

  • All DataVault (DV) staff remain working remotely.
  • Resource Lost Summary (to chaos churn / dealing with issues in the present caused due to COVID-19) - Nursery's and schools have gone back,  as a result Resource loss (across the Team) is now re-estimated back to normal.  This will continue to be monitored on an ongoing basis, Project utilisation is now believed to be 95%.

Summary of current status of the issue:

The issue is preventing a feature of the datavault service (adding public keys) from working. A workaround is temporarily in place with messaging.

Jira - "RSS212-161 Analysis for options for adding key to Storage manager issue" -  is being utilised to record findings against / look to resolve this issue.

  • No further progress was made during May due to other priorities (within RSS Systems Team).

Impact:  Medium

Next Steps

  • Address any BAU priority bugs (if they arise).

  • Continue / complete  development against the Metadata / PURE Interface works.

  • Complete an options paper / estimations for the refactoring DV IV code / infrastructure, following technical workshops. 

  • Prepare for and conduct next Project Board, planned for 22-07-2021.

  • Closure of DV IV.
