Priority and Funding

This is a priority 2 project.

Project is funded by the SSP ring-fenced budget to cover the cost of the SSP staff: SITS developers/SSP project manager.

There is additional funding made available from Student Systems for Other IS resources and the SSP BI developer. 

Impact and Dependencies

1. Dependency

- from COM025 BI architecture project which will deliver a proof of concept in the summer. Stakeholders have been engaging with COM025. It is noted this is not a showstopper to deliver this project.

- from the Course Evaluation Mainstreaming project (student Systems Operations project): the outcome will to establish the questions set structure. This is required for specifying the EVASYS BI Universe for SAC044. Expected outcome by end May.

2. Impacts:

- It is expected the dashboard will provide the data source for the HSS Programme Monitoring (IS Apps project not started as of beg May)- Engage with stakeholders.

- The dashboards will also provide a key data source for the new Quality Assurance Framework

- The Evasys BI Universe will be used for the Course Evaluation Mainstream project (Student Systems Operations project, reports needed end 2016)

- new Evasys datamart design should take note of a potential initiative to feed Evasys data to PATH (no project at the moment)
