Priority and Funding

This project has a NORMAL priority. It is a discretionary project. SSP has allocated 50 days for the planning phase.  Additional funding will be needed and will be confirmed following the estimation of the development work.

Impact and Dependencies

Group 3 schools will need to adopt new processes and decommissioned local applications. The Group 3 schools include:

  • School of Informatics
  • Deanery of Clinical Sciences
  • Edinburgh Medical School - Medicine MBChB
  • School of Social and Political Sciences
  • Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies
  • Molecular, Genetic and Population Health Sciences

The development work required to fix critical and non-critical issues will need to be planned around key dates related to Course and Programme Boards, and results publications. In particular, critical fixes are required ahead of the winter exam boards which take place throughout January 2018.

The Service Excellence Programme (SEP) may be impacted/impact on this project because they share resources within SSP.
