Achievements in the Last Period

• The APT Board meeting took place on 14 February. The revised version of the project brief, new estimate and plan were well received and have been signed off. They were also approved by ISG governance and QA Board on 16 February 2018, see End of Planning milestone. Resources booked and Go CAB Change Requests for Phase 1 release have been booked according to the plan.

• Sprint 3 took place between 7-21 February but no release was produced because no Jira was completed. The milestone for Sprint 3 release was withdrawn.

• Sprint 4 started on 21 Feb with aim to produce a release on 7 March. Several Jiras have already been fixed as the development velocity is increasing due to the second developer on the project. However, because of the Change Freeze on IS system from 23 Feb to 21 Mar due to industrial action releases have had to be rescheduled. This will not change the end of Phase 1 (Delivery - End of Development Phase 1 (Sprint 1-6)) scheduled for 14 May 2018.

  • Sprint 4 will now last for 4 weeks and end on 21 Mar 2018.

  • Sprint 5 will start on 21 Mar and end on 4 Apr 2018.

  • Sprint 6 will end as  planned on 14 May 2018.

• Documentation, training and support work is ongoing.

Issues

• Change Freeze on IS system from 23 Feb to 21 Mar due to industrial action meant that releases 4 & 5 had to be rescheduled. Risk 8: Disruption from the UCU strike action has been raised.
• A new risk has been raised around Potential additional scope for documentation and training from SAS003 Special Circumstances, Extension and Concessions. Support for new fields will be needed with some addition testing, documentation and training needed. This is not likely to be an issue during Phase 1 and can be scheduled during Phase 2.
• The approved plan include a second BA and a tester which are still to be identified.
