APT communication site what we 're working on, backlog, release news...
The Assessment & Progression Tools (APT) have been continuously improved throughout 18/19, addressing critical issues and making it more stable than before. APT is now used by all schools to process and publish course results and progression and award decisions.
However, there are still critical issues and improvements to be addressed, as well as a backlog of Standard Operating Procedures and online user guidance that needs to be completed. Funding has therefore been secured so that, by the end of 19/20, APT will be handed over to Student Systems Operations who will be able to support a more stable service.
Refer to the Project site (LINK) for details of work completed since April 2019 and to the Project Closure Report 18/19 for more information on the previous phase of the project (LINK).
Scope
The aim of this project is for the APT service to remain stable and supported during 19/20.
Not in Scope:
- Changes to resits functionality will not be addressed. Schools will still be required to manually calculate resit results in some unsupported scenarios
- Major changes to scaling functionality will not be addressed, though small tweaks may be as prioritised by users.
