Project Brief Guidance
The Project Brief lays out the terms and conditions for the project that is about to be undertaken. It helps to ensure that all stakeholders have a common understanding of what the project is seeking to deliver.
For ease of completion the template is divided into four sections:
Project Brief - title page with a table for stakeholders that are required to sign off the document
Overview - Background, Scope, Objectives and Deliverables, Benefits, Success Criteria, Project Milestones
Impact - Priority and Funding, Impact and Dependencies, Project Risks
Organisation - Work/Task Breakdown, Resource Skills and Cost, Project Governance, Project Stakeholders
You can navigate through the pages of this template via the page controls displayed at the bottom of this page, or via the menu on the left-hand side.
To edit the page click on 'New draft' or 'Edit draft' at the top-right of the page. If you can't see either of these options then you may not have permission to update the document, or you may not be logged in. The Project or Programme Manager can update your permissions in the project group.
Remember to publish (or save) each section before moving on to the next one.
